Zeng Lingchan, born in 1981, is from Liping County, Guizhou Province. She is currently the head of Guizhou Yilin Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd., and also serves as the vice president of the Liping County Women's Entrepreneurship Promotion Association. In 2006, Zeng Lingchan unfortunately developed thyroid cancer. As a single mother, she lived independently with her young daughter. However, she did not succumb to fate's arrangements, actively cooperating with treatment and fiercely fighting against the disease. At the same time, she strengthened her self-study and eventually excelled in the law program at the Central Radio and Television University, graduating successfully.
After obtaining her diploma, she did not stop her progress. After thorough analysis, she began to take out loans from banks to start her business, establishing Liping County Zhongxin Decoration Company in 2019, which has assets reaching 5 million yuan as of now. In 2010, she joined the Liping County Women's Entrepreneurship Promotion Association and became the vice president in 2022.
In recent years, due to Zeng Lingchan's outstanding performance, she has received recognition from society and praise from the general public, as well as awards from relevant departments: in 2011, she was awarded the "Leading Woman in Wealth Creation" by the Liping County Women's Federation; in 2012, she was recognized as an "Outstanding Member" by the Liping County Women's Entrepreneurship Promotion Association; in 2012, she was awarded the "March 8th Red Banner Holder" by Liping County; in 2012, she was awarded the "March 8th Red Banner Holder" by Qiandongnan Prefecture Women's Federation; and in August 2017, she won the "Top 8 National Award" at the Feng Tian Cup Beautiful Kitchen competition organized by Guangdong Zhongshan Feng Tian Integrated Kitchen and Bathroom Appliances Co., Ltd.
Zeng Lingchan, who works diligently, also possesses a charitable heart in her life. She often pays attention to vulnerable groups and contributes her love. In 2014, she was recognized as a "Love Messenger" in the "Five Hearts" theme education selection activity by the Liping County Spiritual Civilization Construction Guidance Committee; in March 2021, she was awarded the "Outstanding Proposal Award" by the 10th Liping County Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
For more than 20 years since starting her business, Zeng Lingchan has faced difficulties without fear and has actively given back to society. After achieving success, she did not forget the vulnerable groups in society. She has done her best to engage in charitable work, actively helping those in need and giving back to society, serving the people. Since 2019, Zeng Lingchan has helped solve employment for nearly 600 people in Liping and surrounding counties, assisted nearly 50 college students and laid-off workers in finding jobs, and sponsored 25 impoverished students to complete their studies. In 2021, she contracted 2,000 acres of barren mountains in Jiu Chao to plant medicinal herbs, creating stable employment for around 300 people in the area. She has also donated money and goods to disaster-stricken areas: 5,000 yuan for the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, 2,000 yuan for the Jiu Chao flood in 2016, and during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she donated 6,000 yuan worth of masks, infrared thermometers, and other urgently needed epidemic prevention supplies to Liping No. 2 Middle School.
In 2021, to improve the employment rate of impoverished populations, Zeng Lingchan funded 108 men and women, including Wu Shengfang, to participate in job skills training and obtained certificates. In recruiting employees, she prioritized the needs of impoverished families and disabled individuals, solving employment issues for nearly 600 local people. "Seeking development through pragmatism, seeking practice through exploration, and serving the people" is her principle. Her years of work and life experiences have not only tempered her will but also strengthened her confidence in overcoming difficulties.
Today, Zeng Lingchan is more passionately engaged in her work and life. The road ahead is long and has no end; I will search up and down, striving hard, writing her own brilliant chapter!
