Today, Zeng Lingchan is embracing both her career and personal life with even greater enthusiasm and determination. The road ahead may be long and arduous, but I will tirelessly strive upward, relentlessly pursuing my goals and working hard to create a brilliant chapter uniquely hers!
Zeng Lingchan, born in 1981 and originally from Liping County, Guizhou Province, is currently the head of Guizhou Yilin Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. She also serves as the Vice President of the Liping County Women's Entrepreneurship Promotion Association. In 2006, Zeng Lingchan was unfortunately diagnosed with thyroid cancer. As a single mother, she has been raising her young daughter independently. However, rather than succumbing to fate, she actively embraced medical treatment and tenaciously fought against the illness. At the same time, she dedicated herself to self-improvement through continuous learning, ultimately earning an outstanding academic record that enabled her to successfully enroll in and graduate from the Law program at the Central Radio and Television University.
Upon receiving her graduation certificate, she did not let this halt her forward momentum. After careful analysis and consideration of various options, she decided to take out a bank loan to start her own business. In 2019, she founded the Liping County Zhongxin Decoration & Interior Design Company, which has since grown to an impressive asset value of 5 million yuan as of today. In 2010, she joined the Liping County Women's Entrepreneurship Promotion Association, and in 2022, she was appointed as its Vice President.
In recent years, Zeng Lingchan has earned widespread social recognition and high praise from the general public due to her outstanding performance. She has also received commendations from relevant authorities: in 2011, she was awarded the title of "Model Leader in Women's Wealth Creation" by the Liping County Women's Federation; in 2012, she was recognized as an "Outstanding Member" by the Liping County Association for Promoting Women's Entrepreneurship; in the same year, she was honored with the title of "Liping County March 8th Red Banner Holder"; additionally, in 2012, she was awarded the "Qiandongnan Prefecture March 8th Red Banner Holder" by the Qiandongnan Prefecture Women's Federation. In August 2017, she achieved a remarkable accomplishment by securing a place among the top eight nationwide in the Fengtian Cup "Xuanmei Kitchen" competition, organized by Fengtian Integrated Kitchen & Bath Appliance Co., Ltd. of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province.
Zeng Lingchan is dedicated and conscientious in her work, and in her personal life, she embodies a compassionate and charitable heart, often extending her kindness to vulnerable groups. In 2014, she was honored by the Liping County Spiritual Civilization Construction Steering Committee as the "Charity Ambassador" in the "Five-Hearted" thematic education campaign jointly organized by Liping Xinhé Bank. In March 2021, she was recognized by the Liping County CPPCC as the recipient of the "Outstanding Proposal Award" from the 10th Liping County CPPCC Committee.
Since founding her business more than 20 years ago, Zeng Lingchan has fearlessly overcome challenges, persevered through adversity, and actively given back to society. After achieving remarkable success, she has remained deeply committed to supporting vulnerable groups in society. With every opportunity at hand, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to charitable endeavors, stepping forward to help those in need and proactively contributing to the greater good. Since 2019, Zeng Lingchan has helped create employment opportunities for over 600 individuals in Liping County and surrounding areas, including nearly 50 college graduates and laid-off workers. Additionally, she has provided financial assistance to 25 underprivileged students, enabling them to complete their education. In 2021, she undertook a project in Jiuchao, contracting 2,000 mu of barren land to cultivate traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, thereby boosting local employment and income stability for approximately 300 residents. Furthermore, she has generously contributed to disaster-affected regions on multiple occasions: donating 5,000 yuan during the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, providing 2,000 yuan in aid following the 2016 Jiuchao floods, and offering essential pandemic relief supplies—such as masks, forehead thermometers, and temperature guns—worth 6,000 yuan to Liping No. 2 High School during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020.
In 2021, to enhance the employment rate among impoverished populations, Zeng Lingchan funded the enrollment of 108 male and female workers, including Wu Shengfang, in employment skills training programs, all of whom successfully obtained their certificates. When recruiting employees, she adhered to the principle of prioritizing individuals from impoverished families and people with disabilities, thereby helping nearly 600 local residents secure stable employment opportunities. Her guiding principle has always been "Seeking development through pragmatism and pursuing practical results through exploration, while serving the people wholeheartedly." Over the years, her extensive work and life experiences have not only strengthened her resolve but also bolstered her confidence in overcoming challenges.
